CellGenix develops, manufactures and markets cell and protein therapeutics for cancer and orthopedic patients, as well as high-quality reagents for therapeutic ex vivo cell processing. The company owns Metreon Bioproducts GmbH, which was founded in 1996 and which is specialized on cell processing. Serum-free Chondrocyte Culture
CellGenix's research focuses on stem cell therapy for the regeneration of tissues and organs, cancer immunotherapy and the development of GMP-grade ex vivo cell processing tools, like cytokines, serum-free media and closed kit systems. A patient-specific idiotype vaccine (IdioVax?) against Non-Hodgkin磗 B-cell lymphoma is already in a Phase II clinical trial which is being conducted in collaboration with Freiburg's University Medical Center and the Center for Clinical Research.
